The main difference is the badge and some model branding. If you have an American Standard and want to replace it with the same thing, I can do that. If you’d rather cross over to Trane, the quality is the same.
What is American Standard AccuClean?
AccuClean is American Standard’s whole-home air filtration system. It removes up to 99.98% of allergens and particles down to 0.1 microns, including dust, pollen, pet dander, and some bacteria. It integrates with the air handler and does not need frequent filter changes like standard filters do.
What warranty does American Standard carry?
American Standard residential systems carry a 10-year limited warranty on parts when registered within 60 days of installation. Some Platinum series models have extended coverage on specific components. I register every system I install at the time of the job.
Why would I choose American Standard over Trane?
