This is a residential service tech role with a sales component: you diagnose the system, walk the homeowner through repair or replacement options, quote it, and close it. I run a small crew, not a call center, so when you run a truck for me it is your route and your customers.
- Run your own truck, dispatched from home, out of Kingfisher
- Work on Trane TCS SELECT, Mitsubishi Diamond ductless, and IGSHPA-accredited geothermal (ClimateMaster, WaterFurnace)
- 4-day work week, three-day weekend, when the schedule allows
- Hourly base plus a percentage of invoice value you close, plus an annual bonus. I do not cap it.
- Health insurance, company truck and gas card
Requirements: 5+ years residential HVAC experience, EPA 608 certified, strong diagnostic and sales-oriented skills, proof of experience and references. NATE certification and geothermal experience are a plus.
Pay: $60,000 to $95,000 or more depending on experience, set the same way as every role here: on what you can actually diagnose and close, not time served.

No experience? Read this first
You do not need HVAC experience to start here. The apprentice path exists for people who have never touched a system, and I would rather train somebody reliable from zero than untrain somebody who learned it wrong. What I actually need on day one is that you show up when you said you would, you can lift and work in an attic in July, and you hold a clean enough driving record to be in a company truck.
The work runs out of Kingfisher across seven counties: Kingfisher, Canadian, Oklahoma, Garfield, Major, Logan, and Blaine. If you live in or near those, the drive is realistic.

Do I need HVAC experience to get hired?
No. The apprentice path is built for people starting from zero. Show up when you say you will, be able to work in an attic in July, and keep a clean enough driving record to sit in a company truck, and I can teach the rest.

Where would I be working out of?
Kingfisher, running seven counties: Kingfisher, Canadian, Oklahoma, Garfield, Major, Logan, and Blaine. Some geothermal project work reaches further out on scheduled jobs.
What does a geothermal technician here actually do?
Diagnostics, service, and commissioning on ground-source systems, which means loop pressure, flow, water temperatures, airflow, and controls. It is the part of the trade most techs never get taught, which is exactly why I train for it here.
What should I not put on the application?

What the work pays
Base pay for an experienced geothermal service technician is $32 to $40 an hour, set on verified experience, licensing, and what you can actually diagnose. That is the full base range, top and bottom, published on the geothermal technician posting.
Total compensation of $90,000 to $110,000 or more is for a proven producer and is not a guarantee. Performance pay is set in the final written employment offer, not on this page. Training, licensing, and CEUs are company paid.
For the apprentice, drilling and installation, and geothermal training-path roles I do not post a rate, because what I pay depends on what you walk in able to do.
