This is the plan most Oklahoma houses should be on. Two visits means the cooling gets checked before summer and the heat gets checked before winter, which is the only way to catch both halves of the system before the weather does.

What $360 Buys

Two Visits Beats Two Tune-Ups, and Here Is the Number

A standalone tune-up is $229. Two of them is $458. This plan is $360 for the same two visits, so you are $98 ahead before anything else, and then the filters and the repair discount are on top of that. That is the entire argument and I do not need a better one.

The Repair Discount, With Its Limit

10% off repairs, capped at $300 per repair. I say the cap out loud because I would rather you know it now than find it on an invoice. On a $900 repair the discount is $90. On a $5,000 repair the discount is $300, not $500. The cap is the deal and it applies to every plan family that carries the discount.

The Filters

Two air filters a year, one installed by me at each of the two visits. That is the whole filter benefit on this tier and I am not going to imply it is more. If you burn through filters faster than that, because of dogs, dust, or a return in the wrong place, look at Full Year 360, where filters are covered all year and you call the office and pick up extras at the shop.

What Gets Checked, and When

Spring visit, the cooling side: refrigerant charge measured rather than guessed, condenser coil cleaned, capacitor and contactor tested under load, blower and evaporator, condensate drain cleared and the safety switch tested, temperature split across the coil.

Fall visit, the heating side: on a gas furnace, the heat exchanger, burners, flame sensor, ignition, gas pressure and the flue draft. On a heat pump, both modes, a full defrost cycle, the reversing valve changeover, and amp draw on every auxiliary heat strip. A dead strip is invisible until the coldest night of the year.

A written report each time, with a quote for anything I find before I do it.

Who This Suits

A normal Oklahoma house with an air conditioner and a furnace, or any heat pump at all. If you have a heat pump this is the tier I push, because a heat pump runs both seasons and a single annual visit tests half a machine. If you want the emergency trip charge waived and filters all year, that is Full Year 360 at $499.

The Service Call Fee Rule

There is always a dispatch fee and always a diagnostic fee. A standard residential service call is $210 total: $99 dispatch plus $111 diagnostic. After hours is $198 dispatch plus $111 diagnostic, $309 total, and it is non-refundable. The scheduled visits included in your plan are the exception: no dispatch fee on those. Repair troubleshooting on any other visit follows the normal rule.

Connected thermostat features and pricing for additional systems have to be confirmed by the office for your specific equipment and agreement.

Where These Plans Run

Kingfisher, Canadian, Oklahoma, Garfield, Major, Logan and Blaine counties: Kingfisher, El Reno, Yukon, Mustang, Okarche, Piedmont, Enid, Guthrie, Crescent, Watonga, Hennessey, Cashion and the towns between them. Geothermal is the exception and I travel most of the state for it.

Is this the right plan for a heat pump?

Yes, and it is the one I recommend. A heat pump runs in both seasons, so it needs testing in both. One visit a year on a heat pump leaves the other mode untested until it fails.
