Heat pump repair in Oklahoma City

If you searched “heat pump repair near me” from northwest OKC, Yukon, Mustang, Piedmont, Bethany, Warr Acres, Edmond or El Reno, that is my route. I run heat pump calls all year: summer cooling failures, winter no-heat calls, and the shoulder-season days when the system cannot decide which mode it should be in.

The heat pump problems I find most in Oklahoma City homes:

• Defrost problems. The outdoor coil ices over and never clears. That is usually a defrost control, sensor, or airflow issue, and it gets worse every cold night it is left alone.
• Auxiliary heat that runs too long or not at all. Heat strips that stay on push the electric bill up fast in a cold snap. Strips that never come on leave you cold when the temperature drops into the teens.
• Refrigerant leaks at the line set, the outdoor coil, or the indoor coil. I find the leak before I talk about adding refrigerant.

Heat pump maintenance and replacement in Oklahoma City

Maintenance. A heat pump heats and cools, so it wears in both seasons. A standalone tune-up is $229, weekday 7am to 3pm. Light commercial up to 15 tons is a flat $389 diagnostic, day or night, and you can book it online without calling first. There is no after-hours uplift on that number, so a Sunday rooftop call is the same $389 as a Tuesday morning.

Above 15 tons I measure and size the equipment on site and price the work from there. Nobody can size a rooftop unit or a chiller over the phone, so I would rather look at it than guess at a number you cannot hold me to.
