Why an outage turns into an emergency here
Oklahoma summers are brutal. A failed AC can make a home unlivable within hours, and a heat wave is when the calls stack up. In January it is the other way around: a furnace or heat pump down in a hard freeze is a safety problem, not an inconvenience. That is why I treat no-heat and no-cool calls in Oklahoma City as the ones that go first.
During business hours the standard repair call is $210 flat: $99 dispatch plus $111 diagnostic. A true after-hours emergency is $198 dispatch plus $111 diagnostic, $309 total, and it is non-refundable. Either way the repair itself is priced before any work starts.
