This is the entry plan and it is deliberately bare. One visit, no repair discount, no filter benefit. What you are buying is the visit itself and the fact that it gets scheduled instead of forgotten. If you want the extras, they live on the tiers above and I would rather tell you that plainly than dress this one up.

What $199 Buys

The visit is a full maintenance service on one system, spring or fall, your choice, with a written report before I leave. If I find something, you get a quote for it in writing. Nothing gets done to your equipment that you did not agree to.

Spring or Fall: Which One Should You Pick

If you only get one visit a year, pick the season that matches the system that would hurt most to lose.

• Take spring if your summer cooling is the thing you cannot be without. An Oklahoma July will find every weak capacitor and low charge you have, and finding it in April is a repair. Finding it in July is an emergency at $309.
• Take fall if you are on gas heat and the safety side matters more to you. That visit includes the heat exchanger and combustion checks, and those are the ones with a carbon monoxide consequence, not just a comfort one.
• If you have a heat pump, one visit a year is genuinely not enough, because the machine runs in both seasons. I would put you on Spring and Fall 360 instead and I will say so on the phone.

Why This Tier Has No Repair Discount

Because the value here is the visit, and I would rather price the visit honestly than pad it and hand some of it back as a discount. The tiers above carry 10% off repairs, capped at $300 per repair. This one is 0%, on purpose, and it is why it is the cheapest one.

The Math Against a One Off Tune-Up

A standalone tune-up is $229, weekdays 7am to 3pm. This plan is $199 for the same visit, scheduled. So the entry plan is $30 less than paying for one tune-up, which is the whole point of it existing. If you are going to have me out twice, stop here and look at Spring and Fall 360, because two tune-ups is $458 and that plan is $360.

What This Plan Does Not Do

It does not make repairs free, it does not waive the emergency trip charge, it does not cover filters, and it is not a warranty. A plan is maintenance. If the compressor fails, the plan did not fail, it just was not an insurance policy and I never sold it as one.

The Service Call Fee Rule

There is always a dispatch fee and always a diagnostic fee. A standard residential service call is $210 total: $99 dispatch plus $111 diagnostic. After hours is $198 dispatch plus $111 diagnostic, $309 total, and it is non-refundable. The scheduled visits included in your plan are the exception: no dispatch fee on those. Repair troubleshooting on any other visit follows the normal rule.

Connected thermostat features and pricing for additional systems have to be confirmed by the office for your specific equipment and agreement.

Where These Plans Run

Kingfisher, Canadian, Oklahoma, Garfield, Major, Logan and Blaine counties: Kingfisher, El Reno, Yukon, Mustang, Okarche, Piedmont, Enid, Guthrie, Crescent, Watonga, Hennessey, Cashion and the towns between them. Geothermal is the exception and I travel most of the state for it.

Is one HVAC maintenance visit a year enough?

For a straight air conditioner and a gas furnace, one well timed visit a year is a reasonable minimum. For a heat pump it is not, because the machine works in both seasons and one visit leaves half of it untested. I will tell you which camp you are in.

Do I get a repair discount on the $199 plan?

No. This tier is 0% on purpose, which is why it is the cheapest. The 10% repair discount, capped at $300 per repair, starts at Spring and Fall 360.

Is the plan cheaper than a one off tune-up?

Yes, by $30. A standalone tune-up is $229 on a weekday. The plan is $199 for the same visit and it gets scheduled rather than remembered.

Can I choose spring or fall after I sign up?

Yes. Call the office and we will put it where you want it. Most people pick spring for the air conditioning, and people on gas heat often pick fall for the combustion and heat exchanger checks.

Does this plan cover my air filters?

No. Filters start at Spring and Fall 360, which includes two, one installed at each visit. The Full Year 360 plan covers them all year.
