A rebuild is for specific equipment where repair scope, age, and value still make sense.
Some equipment is worth rebuilding. Some is not. Hartzell reviews age, condition, refrigerant, compressor and blower health, heat exchanger or coil condition, ductwork, controls, warranty path, and replacement cost before recommending a rebuild.
Maintenance requirement
Any warranty-extension or rebuild-care terms must be tied to a current Hartzell 360 maintenance plan confirmed before approval.

Estimate versus diagnostic
New replacement estimates are separate from repair troubleshooting. If the existing system has to be diagnosed, it is a service call.
