CKenergy Geothermal Rebate: $2,000/Ton in Oklahoma
If you’re on CKenergy and you haven’t looked at geothermal yet, $2,000 a ton is a real number. On a 3-ton system that’s $6,000 back. On a 4-ton system it’s $8,000. I’ve done enough of these installs across Blaine, Canadian, Grady, and Comanche counties to know exactly what CKenergy checks for, and I handle every step from the free estimate through the rebate submission.

How It Works: Estimate to Rebate Check
- Free estimate — I size the system with a Manual J load calculation. Most contractors skip this.
- Loop design and drilling — I coordinate the loop contractor and oversee the ground loop. 50-year warranty on the loop.
- Equipment install — ClimateMaster or equivalent ground-source heat pump, permitted and inspected.
- Rebate paperwork — I submit the CKenergy rebate application with all required documentation. You don’t fill out anything.
- Rebate check arrives — CKenergy sends the check directly to you.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much is the CKenergy geothermal rebate?
$2,000 per ton, maximum $24,000 per member. 3-ton = $6,000. 4-ton = $8,000. The check goes directly to you after install and inspection.
What counties does CKenergy serve?
Blaine, Caddo, Canadian, Comanche, Custer, Dewey, Grady, Kiowa, Roger Mills, and Washita. Kingfisher County is KPWA, not CKenergy.
Do I need a licensed contractor?
Yes. I hold a Master HVAC License and am IGSHPA Accredited for geothermal. All work is permitted and inspected.
Can I stack the CKenergy rebate and financing?
Yes. 6% on-bill financing for 4 to 7 years, stackable with the $2,000/ton rebate. The rebate cuts your upfront cost; the loan spreads the rest over your utility bill.
How long does geothermal last?
50-year loop warranty. Heat pump unit runs 20 to 25 years vs 12 to 15 for conventional. When you factor in the rebate, lower bills, and longer lifespan, the math almost always favors geo.
What does a geothermal install cost after the rebate?
Every job is different based on soil, loop size, and equipment. That’s why I do a free estimate with a proper Manual J before quoting anything. Call 405-375-4822 and I’ll give you a straight answer.
