These photos are from a single commercial job, two 60-ton Carrier rooftop units at an Oklahoma gas processing plant. The scope includes full engineering review, custom sheet metal ductwork, complex control panel work, and motor control center coordination. This is the level of technical depth Hartzell’s brings to every commercial project.
Event Venue HVAC, Barndominium New Construction
Hartzell’s designed and installed the complete HVAC system for a new barndominium event venue in central Oklahoma. The job required coordinating with the building envelope (spray foam ceiling insulation), sizing equipment for the large open span, and selecting a Johnson Controls split heat pump system suited for the venue’s heating and cooling loads.
Industrial Liquid Cooling, Marathon Oil / Teco-Westinghouse, Omega & Coalton OK
Hartzell’s completed a joint venture with Teco-Westinghouse on a specialized industrial cooling project at Marathon Oil’s natural gas processing facilities in Omega and Coalton, Oklahoma. The system uses a compressorless liquid refrigerant pump design, liquid refrigerant circulates through Parker cooling units to keep the large Teco-Westinghouse motors at safe operating temperatures as they pump natural gas hundreds of miles to Houston. No compressor, no moving parts in the refrigeration circuit, just liquid refrigerant and a pump. The job came in under budget and ahead of schedule.
