We install Mitsubishi, Daikin, and ACiQ ductless mini-splits across central Oklahoma. ACiQ is our recommendation when customers want reliable efficiency without the premium brand markup — the R454B refrigerant, SEER2 ratings, and multi-year warranties are comparable to top-tier brands at a lower installed cost.

Single-Zone Mini-Splits (One Outdoor Unit, One Indoor Head)
ACiQ single-zone systems pair one outdoor condenser with one wall-mount indoor unit. Two tiers available:
| Series | Sizes (BTU) | SEER2 | Heating Down To | Warranty | Installed Est. |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Essentials R454B | 9,000 – 36,000 | 19 – 21 | -4°F | 6-yr comp / 4-yr parts | $1,620 – $3,640 |
| Standard R454B | 9,000 – 36,000 | 23 – 24.5 | -13°F | 12-yr comp / 7-yr parts | $1,770 – $3,720 |
Prices include outdoor unit, wall-mount indoor head, line set (up to 25 ft), labor, and startup. Electrical upgrades, permits, condensate pump, and long line sets add cost. Call for a written quote.
Single-Zone Price by BTU — Installed
| BTU | Essentials R454B | Standard R454B |
|---|---|---|
| 9,000 | $1,620 | $1,770 |
| 12,000 | $1,650 | $1,940 |
| 18,000 | $2,080 | $2,590 |
| 24,000 (2-ton) | $2,560 | $3,060 |
| 30,000 | — | $3,490 |
| 36,000 (3-ton) | $3,640 | $3,720 |

Which SZ tier should you choose? Essentials works well for secondary spaces (bedrooms, offices, bonus rooms) you want climate-controlled but don’t rely on heavily. Standard is the right call for primary living spaces, garages, shops, or any space where you expect year-round heavy use — the longer warranty and colder operating range are worth the extra cost.
Multi-Zone Mini-Splits (One Condenser, 2–6 Indoor Heads)
ACiQ multi-zone systems run multiple independently controlled zones from a single outdoor condenser. Two condenser tiers available (Standard and Extreme), both supporting wall mounts, slim cassettes, and ceiling cassettes as indoor units.
| Series | Condenser Sizes | Max Zones | SEER2 | Installed Est. |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | 18k – 55k BTU | 6 zones | 24 – 25 | $3,770 – $9,210 |
| Extreme | 18k – 55k BTU | 6 zones | 22 – 25 | $4,360 – $9,700 |
Indoor unit options for multi-zone systems:
- Wall Mount (6k–24k BTU) — standard option for bedrooms, offices, any room with open wall space
- Slim Cassette (6k–18k BTU) — flush-mount in suspended ceilings; good for offices and retail
- Ceiling Cassette (9k–18k BTU) — four-way airflow; open floor plans, showrooms, restaurants
Common configurations Shelby designs:
- 2-zone / 18k: Two bedrooms, or bedroom + living area — installed ~$3,770–$4,340
- 3-zone / 27k: Master + two bedrooms, or kitchen-living + two rooms — ~$5,050–$5,610
- 4-zone / 36k: Whole-home coverage for smaller no-duct homes (~1,000–1,400 sq ft) — ~$6,500–$7,070
- 5-6 zone / 48k–55k: Large homes, multi-room commercial, shops with office zones — ~$8,370–$9,700

Why ACiQ Instead of a Premium Brand?
When a customer asks us to compare ACiQ to Mitsubishi or Daikin, we’re honest about the tradeoffs:
| Brand | Best For | Trade-Off |
|---|---|---|
| Mitsubishi (Diamond Dealer) | Maximum cold-weather performance, primary heat in heavy-use spaces, longest service track record | Highest price point |
| Daikin | Solid mid-range option, excellent reliability, good warranty | Mid-range price |
| ACiQ Standard/Extreme | Comparable SEER2 to Daikin, -13F operating range, solid warranty — best value for most Oklahoma applications | Shorter brand history than Mitsubishi/Daikin |
| ACiQ Essentials | Secondary spaces, budget-conscious projects, supplemental comfort | Shorter warranty, -4F cold limit |
For most single-zone applications in Oklahoma — a bedroom, garage, home addition, or secondary space — ACiQ Standard delivers the performance you need at a lower installed cost. We back every install with our labor warranty regardless of brand.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does ACiQ use the same refrigerant as other brands?
The Essentials and Standard R454B lines use R454B, a next-gen lower-GWP refrigerant now used across major brands including Carrier and Trane. It meets current EPA requirements and won’t face the phase-out issues that R-22 and R-410A ran into. We no longer stock the older Essentials R32 line but can still service those units.
How long does ACiQ installation take?
Single-zone installs are typically done in 3–5 hours. Multi-zone takes 6–10 hours for 3-4 zones, up to 1.5 days for 5-6 zones. We mount the indoor units, run line sets, mount the outdoor unit, pressure-test, pull vacuum, and commission before we leave. You get a full walkthrough on the remote and app before we pack up.
What rebates are available for ACiQ mini-splits in Oklahoma?
OG&E customers can get $1,500 per unit (max $3,000, home must be 10+ years old, up to 2 units/yr). OEC customers get $200–$325/ton for qualifying air-source heat pumps. Cimarron Electric and KPWA have rebate programs in Kingfisher County. Check with your utility — Shelby will help identify what’s available before you buy.
Does ACiQ have an app for remote control?
Yes. The Essentials and Standard series include built-in WiFi and the ACiQ app for iOS and Android. You can adjust temperature, set schedules, and monitor runtime from your phone. Works the same as the remote — you can use both.
Can I get financing on an ACiQ mini-split?
Yes — Synchrony, Wells Fargo, and Wisetack financing are available on all mini-split installs. Many customers qualify for 12–18 month same-as-cash. Apply online or call 405-375-4822 and we’ll help you through the application.
