Maintenance Plan FAQs
What does an HVAC maintenance visit include?
A Hartzell’s maintenance visit includes: filter check, thermostat calibration, refrigerant level check, coil cleaning (evaporator and condenser), electrical connection tightening, capacitor and contactor inspection, drain line flush, heat exchanger inspection, and a written system condition report.
How often should I have my HVAC system serviced in Oklahoma?
Twice a year, once in spring before cooling season (March to April) and once in fall before heating season (October to November). Oklahoma’s heat, dust, and wind make biannual service more important than in milder climates.
Does a maintenance plan really save money?
Yes. Studies show maintained systems use 15 to 25% less energy. More importantly, a technician catching a failing capacitor ($150 repair) prevents a compressor failure ($1,500 to $3,000). Hartzell’s maintenance plan customers also get priority scheduling during summer peaks.
How much does an HVAC maintenance plan cost in Kingfisher Oklahoma?
I keep three plans simple: Tune-Up PMA at $138 a year, Basic PMA at $189 a year, and Dave’s 360 at $360 a year. Each one steps up the included parts coverage and discounts. Call 405-375-4822 and I will fit you to the right level.
Does a maintenance plan cover the dispatch fee on a repair call?
The $99 dispatch fee is waived only on your included annual tune-up visit. On any other repair call the dispatch still applies, but PMA members get priority scheduling and a discount on the repair itself.
