Hartzell’s Heat & Air handles residential HVAC service, geothermal design and service, water-heater work, duct repair, maintenance plans, and replacement estimates around Kingfisher and central Oklahoma. Geothermal projects can be reviewed statewide in Oklahoma.
What I Do
- AC and heating repair.
- Geothermal repair, diagnostics, maintenance, and installation review.
- Water-heater replacement, repair, and tune-ups.
- 360 maintenance plans using the current names and prices.
- Free new-system estimates when the job is replacement or installation, not repair troubleshooting.
In more detail, here is what I install, repair, and maintain for homes and light commercial buildings:
- AC repair and installation: central air, heat pumps, and ductless mini-splits. Trane TCS SELECT and Amana Brand Advantage dealer.
- Furnace repair and installation: gas and electric.
- Heat pumps: air-source and geothermal, repair, replacement, and new installs.
- Geothermal: load calculation, loop design, horizontal or vertical loops, installation, repair, tune-ups, and diagnostics. IGSHPA accredited; ClimateMaster GeoElite, WaterFurnace, and GeoStar dealer. Water well and geothermal bore drilling is done by my OWRB-licensed driller.
- Mitsubishi ductless mini-splits: single-zone and multi-zone. Mitsubishi Diamond Dealer.
- Water heaters: gas and electric tank replacement, repair, diagnostics, and tune-ups.
- HVAC rebuild and refurbishment: a conventional rebuild runs $3,500 to $5,500 installed and can extend system life 8 to 10 years; geothermal rebuilds start at $3,500 when the loop checks out good.
- Thermostats, indoor air quality, and duct repair: smart thermostats, filtration, UV lights, humidifiers, fresh-air ventilation, and duct sealing and rerouting in older homes.
- Commercial: light commercial up to 15 tons is a $389 flat diagnostic, day or night. Larger systems are sized on site.
- Financing: Synchrony, Wells Fargo, Wisetack, Klarna, and JB Financing, for repairs and plans as well as new systems.
What I do not do
I would rather send you to the right person than take a job outside my lane.
- Duct cleaning. I repair and seal ducts, but I do not own truck-mount cleaning equipment. I refer it out.
- General plumbing. Water heaters yes; drains, fixtures, and repiping no.
- Electrical work beyond what my own HVAC installs require.
- Roofing, solar panels, and appliance repair (refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers).
- Window air conditioners. I do not install or repair them.
- Mobile home and RV HVAC. Generally no, call ahead.

Where I work
Everyday heating, cooling, heat pump, and water heater service covers seven Oklahoma counties: Kingfisher (home base), Canadian, Oklahoma, Garfield, Major, Logan, and Blaine. Outside those seven I do not cover everyday service. Geothermal is the exception: for geothermal I travel across Oklahoma and into most of the states that border it, depending on the customer and the project.

I hold an Oklahoma Master HVAC license, I am NATE certified and IGSHPA accredited, and the shop has been BBB A+ for 11 years. Water Heater Maintenance
WH 360 is the annual water-heater maintenance plan at $199 a year. WH Tune-Up is a $99 add-on only when my technician is already on site for AC, heating, or geothermal work. If the water heater is the reason for the truck roll, a Gas or Electric Water Heater Tune-Up is $149.
A water heater diagnostic is $210 when the truck rolls for it, $149 when my tech is already there for other work, and $309 after hours. Those prices are for gas and electric tank units. Tankless units have no public price: call with the brand, model, and the problem.
No separate plumbing maintenance plan is offered.
Service Call Fee Rule
A standard residential service call is $210 total: $99 dispatch plus $111 diagnostic, $210 total. Repair work is quoted separately before approval.
Scheduled included maintenance visits have no dispatch fee. Repair calls still carry the normal dispatch and diagnostic unless the specific top-tier emergency-dispatch waiver applies.
What I Do Not Promise
- No guaranteed immediate arrival.
- No free repair diagnostics.
- The $111 diagnostic does not come off the repair price.
- No rebate amount until I have checked your utility’s current program for your address.
