Straightforward pricing

  • $99 dispatch on a standard weekday residential truck roll ($198 dispatch plus the $111 diagnostic, $309 total, on weekends and after hours; geothermal is $348 flat and commercial is $389 flat), except a free new-system estimate, the Free Geothermal Consultation, the maintenance visit included in a plan, a covered repair callback on conventional equipment (a geothermal warranty visit still pays the $348 diagnostic), or the emergency dispatch waived for Full Year 360 members on conventional systems, up to twice per plan year (the $111 diagnostic still applies).
  • $210 flat residential service call: $99 dispatch plus $111 diagnostic. The diagnostic does not reduce the repair price.
  • Written repair estimate: I give you a written repair estimate before repair work starts.
  • New-system estimates: Free. I measure the house and give you a written price, no pressure.

Got Another Company’s HVAC Quote? I Will Review It, Kingfisher, OK

Got a quote from another HVAC contractor and the price feels off? I’ll give you a straight read on it, no obligation. 47 years fixing heat and air in Kingfisher County. A replacement quote review is free. If they diagnosed a repair, checking it is a different visit, my regular service call. Here is how the two compare.

What the other company told youWhat it costs with me
Replace the system. You are holding another company’s quote for a new system.Same as my estimate: free.
Repair diagnosis. They say a part is bad, such as a compressor, a coil or a board, and you want it tested. If I can fix it: my regular service call, $210 ($99 dispatch plus $111 diagnostic), plus the repair, quoted in writing before I start. If it turns out the system needs replacing, you pay nothing for the visit and I leave you a free written price. Weekends and after hours the service call is $309, and geothermal is $348 flat.

The testing is what costs money, not the fact that something is broken. If your system is down and you only want a replacement price, that is the replacement estimate, and it is free. For geothermal it is the Free Geothermal Consultation, which costs nothing.

When You Should Have Another Quote Reviewed

Most folks who send me another company’s quote fall into one of these buckets. If any of these sound like your situation, send me the estimate.

  • The quote is over $5,000. Replacement quotes routinely run $8K to $25K. A 30 minute review can save you thousands or confirm the price is fair.
  • The other contractor says replace, not repair. Sometimes they are right. Sometimes a $400 part fixes a system they want to swap for $12K. I check the math both ways.
  • You have multiple competing estimates and they do not match. Different equipment, different sizing, wildly different prices. I will tell you which one is closest to right and why.
  • You felt hard-sell pressure. Same-day-only discount, “if you do not sign today the price goes up,” fear-based pitches. That is a sales tactic, not honest work.
  • They refused to itemize the bill. A real HVAC estimate breaks out equipment, labor, materials, and any add-ons. If it is a single lump-sum number with no detail, you are flying blind.

What I Check When I Review Your Estimate

Here is exactly what I look at line by line.

  • Diagnosis accuracy. Does the failure they describe match the symptoms you saw? Was a real diagnostic done or was it eyeballed?
  • Replacement vs repair math. Age, refrigerant type, compressor health, warranty status. Sometimes repair makes sense at 12 years, sometimes replace makes sense at 8.
  • Equipment sizing (Manual J). Most contractors size by rule of thumb. I run the actual load calculation for your square footage, insulation, windows, and orientation. Oversized equipment short-cycles and dies early.
  • Warranty terms and rebate eligibility. Manufacturer parts warranty, labor warranty, and the active Oklahoma utility rebates: CKenergy up to $24,000 geo (10 counties not including Kingfisher), Cimarron Electric $600 geo, KPWA, and OEC. OEC’s current rate sheet is dated 2025, so I confirm the 2026 amount with OEC before I quote it, and OG&E’s Oklahoma residential rebates are closed for 2026 and return in 2027.
  • Labor and parts markup. What did they pay for the equipment and what are they charging? Reasonable markup is one thing, a 4x markup on a Trane is another.

If a contractor is quoting you those credits for a 2026 install, that is a red flag. Oklahoma utility rebates are still active and that is what I focus on.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to have you check another HVAC company’s quote in Kingfisher Oklahoma?

It depends on the quote. If you have another company’s replacement quote, my estimate is free. If another company diagnosed a repair and you want me to check it: if I can fix it, that is my regular service call, $210 ($99 dispatch plus $111 diagnostic), plus the repair, quoted in writing before I start. If it turns out the system needs replacing, you pay nothing for the visit and I leave you a free written price. Weekends and after hours the service call is $309, and geothermal is $348 flat.

What does a quote review include?

I review the other contractor’s written replacement estimate. I look at the equipment they recommend, the sizing math (Manual J), the parts and labor breakdown, the warranty terms, and whether they accounted for active Oklahoma utility rebates. I will also walk your system if needed. If they diagnosed a repair instead, I test the system myself. If I can fix it, that is my regular $210 service call plus the repair. If it needs replacing, the visit is free.

Will you call out another contractor’s mistake?

Yes, plainly. If the diagnosis is wrong, I will tell you. If the equipment is oversized or undersized for your home, I will show you the math. If the price is fair, I will tell you that too. I have been fixing heat and air in Kingfisher County for 15+ years and I am not afraid to back the right call.

Can you review another company’s heat pump replacement quote?

Yes. Heat pump replacements are where I see the biggest gaps in other quotes. I am IGSHPA accredited for geothermal and a Mitsubishi Diamond Dealer plus Trane TCS SELECT for air source. I check the load calculation, the refrigerant line set sizing, the backup heat strategy, and the rebate eligibility from OG&E, OEC, CKenergy, Cimarron Electric, or KPWA.

How fast can you review another company’s quote in Kingfisher?

Most quote reviews I can knock out within 24 to 48 hours. Send me your written estimate by email or text to 405-375-4822, or I will come look at your system in person. Same-day reviews are available when my schedule allows.
