Oklahoma Geothermal Rebate Calculator — Instant Estimate by County

Oklahoma Geothermal Rebate Calculator — Instant estimate by county and system size

I built this calculator so Oklahoma homeowners can quickly see what rebates are available in their county before we even talk. Punch in your county and system size and you will get a real number — not a ballpark. I have been handling the rebate paperwork for customers across central Oklahoma for years, and this covers every active utility program I know of. Federal 25D tax credits expired at the end of 2025 so those are not included.

How Oklahoma Geothermal Rebates Work

Every electric utility in Oklahoma that offers geothermal rebates runs its own program with its own rules. The rebate is paid directly to you after installation and verification. I handle all the paperwork on my end — you just get the check.

What counties get the CKenergy geothermal rebate?

CKenergy pays $2,000 per ton (maximum $24,000) in these counties: Blaine, Caddo, Canadian, Comanche, Custer, Dewey, Grady, Kiowa, Roger Mills, and Washita. Kingfisher County is NOT in CKenergy territory.

How much is the OG&E geothermal rebate?

OG&E pays $1,000 per ton for geothermal installs in Garfield County (Enid area) and Oklahoma County. There is no cap I am aware of, but you need to be an OG&E customer for your service address.

Are federal geothermal tax credits still available?

No. The Section 25D federal geothermal tax credit expired on December 31, 2025. It is not available for 2026 installations. Oklahoma utility rebates are still fully active and in many cases are worth more than the old tax credit was.

Does Hartzell’s handle the rebate paperwork?

Yes. I handle all paperwork for the utility rebate programs I work with. You should not have to deal with forms and utility portals. That is part of the service.

Can I combine multiple rebates?

In most cases no — you are served by one electric utility. But if your situation is unusual (split meter, commercial, etc.) call me and I will tell you exactly what applies. Also note that CKenergy offers a 6% loan program on top of the rebate in some counties.
