Most HVAC “service area” pages are stock photos and a list of city names. Mine has 3,321 pins, each one a real job I or my crew finished.
I’m Dave Hartzell, Master HVAC, 45 years in the trade, based in Kingfisher. The new map lives at /our-work/, and I want to walk you through what it is and why I built it.
Why I Built This Map
I got tired of HVAC ads showing smiling actors next to brand-new units that probably aren’t even hooked up. That’s not proof. That’s a casting call.
I wanted a way to prove I actually work in your neighborhood. Not “we service Central Oklahoma” in 14-point font on a footer. Actual jobs, actual addresses, actual photos.
So I pulled every completed job and put it on a map. 3,321 real Hartzell’s jobs. 1,894 unique customer locations. 25 ZIP detail pages with reviews and photos baked in. From Kingfisher to Oklahoma City to Watonga to Okarche, odds are there’s a pin within a mile of your house. That’s the difference between marketing and evidence.
How to Use It
Open /our-work/ on your phone or laptop. Here’s the quick tour:
- Filter by service type: AC repair, furnace install, geothermal, mini-split, tune-up, water heater. Pick one or stack them.
- Filter by year: See work from this year, last year, or going back several seasons.
- Filter by ZIP: Type your ZIP, or tap one of the quick-chip buttons at the top (Kingfisher, Piedmont, Okarche, Edmond, Oklahoma City).
- Tap any pin: You get the customer story, photos from the job, and the review if they left one. Tech credit included so you know which one of my guys was on site.
- Mobile users: Hit the Filters button in the corner if the sidebar is collapsed. If you allow location, the map will zoom to where you’re standing.
The clusters expand as you zoom in. Heatmap toggle is in the top right if you want to see job density across the region instead of individual pins.
What You’ll Find By ZIP
Some of the numbers, just so you know what kind of footprint we’re talking about:
- Kingfisher 73750: 2,176 jobs. This is home base, and it shows.
- Okarche 73762: 278 jobs. Small town, big repeat customer base.
- Watonga 73772: 170 jobs. Yes, I drive that far. Regularly.
- Piedmont, Edmond, Yukon, Oklahoma City metro: hundreds more across the I-40 and Route 66 corridors.
Every ZIP detail page pulls in the real Google and customer reviews for jobs in that area, plus photos from the field where customers gave the okay. You can click into your ZIP and read what your actual neighbors said about the work, not a curated highlight reel.
Why This Matters When You’re Picking an HVAC Company
Anybody can claim a service area. The test is whether they can show you one real job in your ZIP code.
Pull up any other contractor’s “service area” page and see what they prove. Usually it’s a county outline and a stock photo. Mine is a map you can zoom into until you see a job two doors down from yours.

Because stock photos aren’t proof. A smiling actor next to a unit I’ve never installed doesn’t tell you whether I can fix your system. Real jobs at real addresses do. That’s why I spent the time mapping every completed call I have on record.
