A new Daikin DR80TC 80% Two-Stage Gas Furnace with a new matched cased coil on top, for when the furnace and the indoor coil are done but the outdoor unit still has life in it. Your coil has to match your outdoor unit and its refrigerant. I confirm the AHRI match at the estimate visit, before anything is ordered.
Not sure of your size? The old nameplate is a starting point, not the answer. I run a load calculation at the estimate visit.
Add to your system
Most installs need nothing extra. About 1 in 10 homes needs new ductwork, and I’ll tell you at the estimate visit.
Most homes need I check these at the estimate visit and reuse what’s good.
Nice to have Optional upgrades.
Without my professional installation there is no warranty from me, and a manufacturer can deny its warranty when the equipment is not installed by a licensed HVAC contractor.
Federal EPA Section 608 rules require an EPA certified technician to handle the refrigerant in this equipment. To buy equipment only, I need a copy of your EPA 608 certification, or the certification of the technician installing it.
Your size and final price are confirmed in writing after the load calculation, before anything is ordered.
Equipment only is available if you’d rather. A coil is refrigerant work and has to be installed by an EPA Section 608 certified technician, the warranty has to be registered on time and covers parts, not labor, and equipment is ordered for your job, so ask me about returns before you buy.

What these terms mean
- AFUE
- How much of the gas a furnace turns into heat. An 80% furnace vents up a metal flue. A 90%+ furnace vents through PVC pipe and needs a drain, so I check your house first.
- Two-stage
- Runs on low most of the time and high on the hottest days, for steadier temperatures.
- Variable speed (inverter)
- Ramps up and down to match the house: the steadiest temperatures and the best humidity control.
- AHRI certificate
- An independent certificate that this exact outdoor unit, coil and furnace or air handler were tested together and earn the rating shown.
- R-454B and R-32
- The refrigerants in today’s new equipment. Manufacturers stopped building new R-410A systems at the start of 2025.
A new furnace with the old coil on top often means a leak or a mismatch a year later. Doing both together fixes that once.

Install day
- Before install day: an estimate visit, a Manual J load calculation and a check that the coil matches your outdoor unit, then your written quote.
- I protect floors and walkways, shut off power and gas, recover the refrigerant, and take out the old furnace and coil.
- New furnace and coil set, with gas, venting, wiring and refrigerant lines connected, brazed with nitrogen flowing.
- Pressure test, vacuum, charge, gas and combustion checks, with readings written down.
- Cleanup, a walkthrough of the thermostat and filter, and the old equipment hauled off.
Your install date comes with your written quote. See my full install standard.

Manufacturer warranties cover parts, not labor. My 1-year labor warranty covers the installation.

Questions about this changeout
How much does a Daikin DR80TC 80% Two-Stage Gas Furnace and coil cost in Kingfisher Oklahoma?
Pick your system size above: each size shows the furnace and coil price, my $3,200 professional installation and the total. The smallest size starts at $5,720 for the equipment, and you see the final price in writing before anything is ordered.
Will the new coil work with my outdoor unit?
It has to match your outdoor unit and its refrigerant. I confirm the AHRI match at the estimate visit, and if your outdoor unit runs on an older refrigerant I quote the coil that matches it.
How do I know what size I need?
I run a Manual J load calculation on your house at the estimate visit, so the size comes from the math, not the old unit’s nameplate.
Can I buy the equipment only?
Equipment only is available if you’d rather. A coil is refrigerant work and has to be installed by an EPA Section 608 certified technician, the warranty has to be registered on time and covers parts, not labor, and equipment is ordered for your job, so ask me about returns before you buy.
