Seven Geothermal Units Across Two Buildings
The heart of this account is geothermal. Wheeler Brothers runs seven commercial geothermal water-source heat pumps across two buildings that face each other on Russworm Drive, three in one building and four in the building across the street. These are not the air-source boxes you see on most commercial roofs. Each one is a water-source heat pump tied to a ground loop, so the comfort in those offices and control rooms depends on water moving through the earth and through the unit, not just refrigerant and a fan. When a loop loses water or a loop pump quits, the whole thing stops, and you need someone who understands the loop, not just the box on the wall.
I service and maintain all seven. The units are ClimateMaster water-source heat pumps, and I have the model numbers off the nameplates in the building files: TEV064AGD02CRTS, TEV064AGD02ALTS, TEV038AGD02ALTS, and TEV038AGD02ARTS, a mix of larger and smaller cabinets, all R-410A, all water-source units tied to ground loops. The cabinets are marked in marker, Unit 1, Unit 2, and on down the line, so anyone working in there knows which one they are standing in front of.

The Account
Wheeler Brothers runs a working ag and grain operation in Watonga, out in Blaine County, with truck scales, control rooms, office space, and shop buildings spread across more than one site. A place like that cannot stop for HVAC. The scale has to weigh, the offices have to stay open, and the comfort systems have to run while trucks are coming and going. I have been their HVAC and geothermal shop across these buildings for years, and that is the part that matters for a commercial account: one shop that already knows the equipment and the site.
This is not house work. It is commercial and industrial mechanical work, mixed equipment across multiple buildings, with commercial geothermal at the center of it. I treat it the same way I treat my neighbors here in Kingfisher: show up, do it right the first time, and leave a written report on what I found and what it needs next.
A Real Job: The Geothermal Loop Repair
In November 2019 the west office geo system on Russworm Drive quit putting out heat. I went out and found the geothermal loop empty of water, with a leak at the unit outlet fitting. I repaired the fitting, refilled the loop, and then found the loop pumps were not moving water. I brought a geothermal flush cart and an 80-micron filter, pulled both ClimateMaster loop pumps, and found one impeller broken and the other set of bearings going bad. I replaced both pumps, purged the air out of the loop, and got water flowing again.
While I was in it I found someone had put a single-stage thermostat on a two-stage system, and the blower had the wrong motor pulley and belt. I corrected the pulley and belt and flagged the thermostat. That is the kind of thing you only catch when you actually know geothermal. Most shops will not even open a commercial geo loop. I do this every week.

Equipment On Site
- Seven ClimateMaster commercial geothermal water-source heat pumps across two buildings, with ClimateMaster geo-loop pumps. I keep the loops full, leak-free, and purged, and I rebuild the pump assemblies when an impeller or bearing fails. Nameplates on site read TEV064AGD02CRTS, TEV064AGD02ALTS, TEV038AGD02ALTS, and TEV038AGD02ARTS. This is the work almost nobody local will take on.
- Carrier light-commercial packaged rooftop units (one nameplate reads model 48TCEA06A2A3A0A0A0, R-410A). These carry cooling and gas heat in one cabinet up on the roof and take a crew that has done it before.
- Armstrong commercial circulator pumps on the hydronic side, plus the office systems and controls across the other buildings.
- Condenser coils, condenser fan motors, capacitors, and controls across the buildings. I keep parts that are easy to get in Oklahoma so a down unit does not sit waiting.
Note: these brand, model, and nameplate facts come straight off the job records and the units on site. If you need a full nameplate string or a model and serial for a facility file or a warranty, call me and I will pull it.

Why It Mattered
On a working ag site, HVAC is not about comfort alone. If a control room overheats or the office heat quits in January, the work slows down and the people running the place feel it. Commercial geothermal makes it harder, because when a ground loop loses water or a loop pump fails, you need someone who understands the loop, not just the box on the wall. I am IGSHPA accredited on geothermal and I have 47 years in this trade, so I can stand in front of seven commercial geo units across two buildings and actually keep them running.
I have kept this relationship going across more than one building for years, which is the part that matters for a commercial account. They do not want to re-explain their site to a new contractor every time something breaks. They want one shop that knows the equipment, knows the buildings, and answers the phone.
Commercial, industrial, or ag site with geothermal or conventional HVAC, I can keep it running. Call 405-375-4822.
Commercial and Geothermal Service FAQ
Do you service commercial and industrial sites in Watonga and Blaine County, Oklahoma?
Yes. I service commercial and industrial buildings across western Oklahoma, including the Wheeler Brothers operation in Watonga. I handle rooftop package units, split systems, commercial geothermal water-source heat pumps, circulator pumps, and routine commercial maintenance. I serve Kingfisher, Canadian, Oklahoma, Garfield, Logan, Major, and Blaine counties.
Do you service commercial geothermal heat pump systems?
Yes. Commercial geothermal is the core of what I do at Wheeler Brothers, where I keep seven ClimateMaster water-source heat pumps running across two buildings, three in one and four across the street. I repair and maintain the water-source heat pumps and the ground loops that feed them, including loop leaks, ClimateMaster loop pumps, air purging after a repair, and flow problems through the water coils. Most shops will not touch a commercial geo loop. I will.
Can you keep an ag or grain operation running through harvest?
Yes. A grain operation cannot stop for HVAC, so I work around your schedule, including holding bigger repairs until after harvest when that is the smart call. I keep your control rooms, scale offices, and shop buildings comfortable and the equipment running, and I give you a written report on what I found and what it needs.
How fast can you respond when a commercial unit goes down?
Same-day is usually available, and I keep commercial diagnostics moving because a down unit on a working site is lost time and money. A commercial diagnostic gets you a written report with the problem, the fix, and the cost before any repair starts. Call 405-375-4822 and tell me which building.
What does commercial HVAC and geothermal service cost in Watonga, Oklahoma?
Commercial service is billed by the job, not a flat sticker, because a coil swap, a loop pump replacement, and a rooftop unit repair are not the same work. A commercial diagnostic gets you a written report and a price before any repair starts, and estimates on new equipment are free. Oklahoma utility rebates may apply, and financing is available through Synchrony, Wells Fargo, Wisetack, Klarna, and JB Financing.
Have a commercial, industrial, or geothermal HVAC job in western Oklahoma?
Rooftop units, water-source heat pumps, ground loops, or routine maintenance across multiple buildings, I can handle it. Free estimates on new equipment.
