Oklahoma HVAC + Geothermal Rebate Guide 2026

By Dave Hartzell, Master HVAC, IGSHPA Accredited Installer. 4.8 stars / 279 reviews.

Federal tax credits expired December 2025. Oklahoma utility rebates are still active for 2026, and they stack with manufacturer rebates. I put together a free guide showing exactly which rebates you qualify for by ZIP code, with the math worked out so you know what your real out-the-door cost looks like.

What is in the guide

  • CKenergy geothermal rebate $2,000 per ton (Source: CKenergy), capped at $24,000. Covers 10 western Oklahoma counties. Kingfisher County is not in CKenergy territory, so I show you who covers Kingfisher instead.
  • OG&E rebates $1,000 per ton on geothermal, plus $1,500 per unit on high-efficiency air-source HVAC, capped at $3,000.
  • Cimarron Electric $600 rebate for the Kingfisher area.
  • KPWA Kingfisher city utility rebate, confirmed and active.
  • CVEC Canadian Valley Electric Co-op rebate at mycvec.coop.
  • OEC $400 to $700 per ton on geothermal, $200 to $325 per ton on air-source.
  • HEEHRA federal home energy rebate program up to $8,000. Not yet launched in Oklahoma. I tell you what to watch for and how to be first in line.
  • Why federal 25C and 25D credits ended December 31, 2025 and what that actually means if you are buying in 2026.
  • The stacking math: how to layer utility rebate plus manufacturer rebate plus financing so the system pays you back faster.
